Client: Laborie Medical
Year: 2011-2013
In 2011 I was engaged by Laborie to design their next generation of legacy urological diagnostic equipment. Product hierarchy was broken into 2 distinct levels; diagnostic modules and cart platform. a modular system platform was developed to satisfy inventory and production requirements. The Aquarius System allows for multiple tier products to be produced from a universal library of parts. Diagnostic modules were designed to integrate seamlessly with the cart platform in various ways while maintaining the cutting edge clinical utility Laborie has built its reputation upon. As director of design for this project, I was singularly responsible for overseeing the design of all systems components from design concept, mechanical detailing, manufacturing, packaging and visual branding.
